show me the road I should take

In today's English listening class, I watched "the Purple Rose of Cairo" to the end.

the ending of the movie was quite unexpected and somewhat depressing. That's all my impression of this film.

After the movie, my teacher told us the report written by a student whose minor was English.
He (actually I don't know whether the student is he or she, but anyway) read a lot of things from the movie and gave in-depth analysis of each scenes; he claimed that the characters who did whatever they liked represented to the resistance to the propertied class.

when I listened to his analysis, I was embrrassed that mine was so cheap and no depth. At the same time, he taught me the new point of view in watching movies.

Just then I realized that I was very interested in something like this; read books and watch movies and read the messages they deliver to us. Yes, he was right. He had a good judgement on me.

"I think you can make out in literature seminar."

His word dissapointed me at first, but now I think of it again, his judgement was right. He showed me the best road I should take.

そんなわけで、今日はなんだか晴れやかな気分になれました。

この分野に興味があった、本当は。何がどう描かれているのか分析するその先にももちろん進みたいですけど。またこれは別の話。

ゼミ発表は3日。もしかしたらbusinessの方かもしれないけど･･･って、どうなるか考えても変わらない。待つのみ。

どこに所属するにしても、その時間を意味のあるものにするか無駄にするのかは全て自分にかかってる。自分次第なら、やれるとこまでやってみろ。

なんかゼミ発表楽しみになってきた!

今日は授業2つとも、ホンマに色んな意味で有意義でした。今日の授業担当のお二人に感謝するとともに、あのレポートを書かはった学生の方にも感謝します。
